"Lisbon ambassadors" meeting
The WYD ambassadors met with the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion on July 1st, with the Face of the Ambassadors, symbolized by Sam The Kid, and institutional partners.

The General Meeting of the "Lisbon Ambassadors" was held one month before World Youth Day, a project organised by the Lisbon City Council
From August 1st to 6th, 300 youths will be spread across the city of Lisbon to guide and help the thousands of pilgrims, participants and visitors during World Youth Day.
Spread across the main zones of Lisbon, including its outskirts and main transport hubs of the capital, the "Lisbon Ambassadors" will be identified with a t-shirt, a backpack and a flag.
“We are going to make history in Lisbon, and you are going to be the Ambassadors of that history" emphasised the Mayor of Lisbon.
