Youth festival programme
During the Youth Festival, you will find events in the fields of music, religion and meetings, dance, exhibitions, theatre, conferences, cinema and sports all over Lisbon, on stages and in open-air spaces, as well as indoors.
All the events will be free of charge.

Throughout the city of Lisbon, as well as in the towns of Loures, Almada, Amadora, Cascais, Oeiras and Torres Vedras, stages and various spaces will be distributed, always with free admission, where more than 500 events, led by 2,500 artists, will seek to convey this experience of God’s beauty and goodness, between August 1st and 6th.
According to Cláudia Lourenço, coordinator of the Youth Festival, "the event will be a very beautiful part of the WYD. We want the Festival to be an extension of the World Youth Day, bringing an atmosphere of joy, celebration and sharing". "It will be an opportunity to witness the faith of a Church that is alive and young", she added.
